23 Aug Grand Finals!

Hi guys,

So after an exciting season of soccer the Harbord Seasiders (thats me!) made it into the Grand Finals! Wahoo!

The finals game was a hard one…we played the Cromer Strickers AKA The Avatars. (name given cause of their humungous size). Was a tough one but we managed to beat them 2-1. I've never heard our team cheer so hard and loud..it was a sweet victory and we were on our way to the grand finals the following week. It twas a nerve wrecking week with butterflies all Sunday morning. We arrived at Cromer Park with a massive crowd awaiting, poms poms, bare chested boyfriends and husbands (wahoo) and some random thong throwing (the foot wearing type I may add).

We went into it strong and played our little hearts out but in the end they were too big and ugly and they won 1-0..but as Toni said at least we can get better  – they will never get prettier! hehehe..I know a bit mean but then so were they!

So I have decided we probably should have been wearing our lucky undies and if your not sure what I mean – here take a look…sexy!!
