Almond and Date Protein Balls

These protein balls have to be the best I’ve tasted (and I made them!). They are moist, full of goodness and contain cacao instead of the usual cocoa most chocolate contains. Cacao is not only yum, it is also good for you. It is also sweetened with dates and a little bit of honey, not sugar like a lot of protein bars contain. Hope you enjoy them as much as I did!

 

Ingredients:

1 cup of raw almonds

1 cup of fresh dates

1 tablespoon of natural peanut butter

3 tablespoon of coconut oil

3 tablespoon of cacao

1 tablespoon of honey

2 teaspoons of cinnamon

Method:

Process the almonds until they are like crumbs

Add the rest of the ingredients and process until well combined

Roll the mixture into balls

Refrigerate for an hour (if you can wait that long!)

 

Approx 100 calories per ball
