22 Aug My top 5 reasons you are tired all the time
You eat too much refined sugar.
Eating added sugar will cause an insulin spike (which will make us very energetic) but then will take us back down to where we came from in no time at all. For some this can be a constant cycle where they will continue to eat sugar for the energy throughout the day. The even worse news? Sugar is addictive so before you know it you will also be craving sugar.
Drinking caffeine.
Caffeine in a small amount is fine but when you start drinking more then your 1 or 2 cups the caffeine will have an adverse reaction where you will crash come the afternoon. You see caffeine initially stimulates your body to produce more adrenaline and dopamine than usual, two substances in your body that contribute to energy and positive mood; when these chemicals begin to drop again, you can experience fading energy and a drop in mood.
Your dehydrated
Starve your body of proper hydration and your heart will slow blood flow right down, which will make you feel fatigued. Solution: Keep a two-litre bottle of water by your desk or in your kitchen, and drink the entire bottle over the course of the day. It’s the easiest way to remember to hydrate properly!
